A September Link Roundup

5/09/2009

Daniel Jalkut has a good round up of open source crash reporter tools for your Cocoa applications. This is a subject I’ve been looking into myself lately.

I enjoyed the artwork by 9000. It’s desktop-worthy stuff, although I wish it was higher resolution.

Brandon Walkin has a good blog post on managing UI complexity. There are some great tips on what goes into good UI design here.

I’ve always wanted a Katzenklavier.

Finally, Best of Wikipedia is updated frequently with interesting topics on Wikipedia. It’s a great way to kill some time when you’re bored.

Gelaskins for iPhone 3G

31/10/2008

iPhone 3G Gelaskin
I finally received my Gelaskins order in the mail this week. It looks cool, seems durable, but I ended up with some creases around the corners that drive me crazy when I’m holding the iPhone. The print itself is also kind of low resolution, when you look at it closely. Think inkjet quality, not photo quality.

I’m wouldn’t say I’m unhappy with it or it wasn’t worth the money, but I was hoping for a little more for a $20 sticker.

Amka limited edition posters

21/01/2008

I found a variety of large format (6.5′ x 2′) posters for sale at Amka last week, via Better Living Through Design. At almost $300 USD they’re expensive, but I think they would look great if you have a large, empty wall space to fill.
