If you&#8217;re not familiar with APE, have a look at <a href="http://daringfireball.net/2007/10/blue_in_the_face">Daring Fireball</a> and the <a href="http://blog.macromates.com/2007/logitech-control-center/">TextMate Blog</a> for a few reasons why you probably don&#8217;t want it installed on your system.</p>
<p>Anyhow, from reading the <a href="http://www.macupdate.com/reviews.php?id=8154">MacUpdate comments</a> it looks like LCC 2.4 no longer installs APE. Good job on Logitech&#8217;s part for providing proper drivers for their products.</p>
